AhlulBayt News Agency: Lebanese President Joseph Aoun spoke by phone on Sunday with Sayyed Muhammad Reza Sistani, son of Grand Ayatollah Sistani.
According to a statement from the Lebanese presidency, Aoun exchanged greetings with Sayyed Muhammad Reza Sistani and was informed about the health status of Grand Ayatollah Ali Sistani.
The Lebanese president expressed his hope that he would have the opportunity to meet with Grand Ayatollah Sistani in the future.
Sayyed Muhammad Reza Sistani also expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Aoun and wished him continued success in his national responsibilities.
It is worth noting that Aoun arrived in Baghdad on an official visit and met with Iraqi Prime Minister and President Abdul Latif Rashid and Prime Minister.
